About

Imahiko Kawamura
Imahiko Kawamura focuses on simple and elegant and organic forms with subtle colour. Her work reflects a contemporary taste and lifestyle. Each piece exudes a soothing and healing effect and helps creates a space of peace and tranquility which is the theme of her work.
She works mainly with fine porcelain, using various techniques and the application of her own-developed crystalline glaze. She has been making Japanese table ware since she began working in ceramics in Japan over 20 years ago.
